Gary Hindes is an American journalist and investment manager. In 1988, Hindes ran as a Democrat for lieutenant govenor of Delaware, losing to Dale Wolf by approximately 17,000 votes. The Gary Hindes papers document Hinde's political campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Delaware in 1988 and the ensuing legal case he filed against the Castle/Wolf ticket. The collection also contains informaiton about Hindes' political involvement and public engagement beyond his 1988 campaign.
